結婚5周年,去咗Gordon Ramsay間餐廳去朝聖!早於一個月前已經訂位,但都只係訂到6點15分……好彩,我同拾爺都可以趕得及去。
餐廳門口
餐廳環境 同拾爺準時到達,餐廳安排咗近窗靠邊嘅sofa位俾我哋,當時餐廳人唔多,我估大部份嘅人都book咗7點打後嘅時間。
餐廳佈置及menu 我哋order咗一個starter同兩個main courses,點餐後,waiter就送上麵包。
麵包﹕只有兩種選擇,其中一種外面有少少脆,但兩隻包都唔太有麵包味,談唔上好食……
Yellow fin tuna ceviche, avocado, sweet onion and sesame vinaigrette ($148)﹕好一道冇咩特別嘅菜……拾爺之前上網睇到有人叫過tuna嘅dish,該道菜係有煎tuna嘅,我哋以為呢道都係,點知原來只係tuna sashimi……食唔到啲咩cooking technique添……個sauce又鹹得滯,份量又少,呢道菜性價比低咗啲囉!
Slow roasted pork belly spiced apply puree (198)﹕雖然pork belly好易滯,兩件都夠我哋食,但感覺又真係好細份……個皮唔算好脆,食落去有啲韌……嚿肉個味道就普普通通咁,又係唔覺佢值呢個價!
Traditional shepherd’s pie, braised lamb, onions, carrots, celery, potato puree, parmesan, brioche garlic crumbs ($198)﹕拾爺先食,一食就話怕我受唔到,因為呢道菜好羶!我食完之後,都真係覺得好羶!不過,最大問題唔係羶,而係佢好鹹……鹹到令人好難接受…… 食食吓道Traditional shepherd’s pie,有個waiter走嚟問我哋點,我哋就坦言道菜好鹹,佢就主動offer幫我哋換,仲同我哋講有咩問題都可以出聲。 等緊新嘅Traditional shepherd’s pie時,拾爺去咗洗手間,期間,另一個waiter走嚟同我講佢聽到我頭先話受唔到咁羶,佢話呢道菜嘅羊肉番到嚟係嗰隻味就係嗰隻味,怕再換一兜俾我,我都係受唔到,問我想唔想轉另一道菜,我當然話好,於是,就轉咗﹕
Bread Street Kitchen short rib burger, Monterey jack cheese, spicy sriracha mayo ($188)﹕上Openrice,見唔少人推薦呢道菜,係就係好足料,但我唔覺得好食……個麵包烘得唔夠脆,入面塊肉又唔夠juicy,冇咩特別……
Pineapple carpaccio, passion fruit, coconut sorbet ($88)﹕訂枱時,我有寫明呢餐係慶祝結婚周年,所以餐廳自行幫我哋喺甜品碟上寫字,好貼心!只係……個甜品啲菠蘿片好甜……餐廳用咗passion fruit汁去浸,但啲passion fruit汁好罐頭同好甜,搞到啲菠蘿片好難食……個coconut sorbet就正正常常咁啦。 埋單$685。
