The ice-cream pineapple bun

After grabbing some dinner with bro A we decided to move on with some sweet treats, just a couple of blocks away from our dinner place, there is a take away ice cream bar that do ice cream sandwich with two cookies and a scope of ice cream- I recall my first ever ice-cream sandwich cookie was in NYC in a burger joint, the portion is very american so I had a food coma after that. Bro A got the lychee ice cream which is a limited edition flavour (off the season aye), and two cookies were in cheese & berry and original flavour, pretty much just add a scope of ice cream in between the two cookies, wrap it up and its all set. I had some lychee ice cream, is pretty milky and creamy but it was pretty good, while most of the lychee ice-cream i had will be like sorbet style. I was about to get myself an ice cream sandwich too until I found out they have got an option to have mini pineapple bun replacing the cookie, the servers there explain to us that the pineapple bun will be heated before they add the ice cream, which make it even more tasty. Strawberry flavour ice-cream is recommended by the ladies there so I ordered one with strawberry flavour instead, rather than real strawberry bites they added in some mashi, which enhance the texture of the whole thing but some real strawberry would make it even nicer, the ice cream is milky as well, and but it does go well with the pineapple bun, since pineapple bun is kinda sweet, would be a better combo if it match up with some citrus flavour ice cream. Staff there is friendly, price? not bad I would say, see what other flavour of ice cream they will come up with, I will possibly check it out again in my next visit in Mong Kok.
