I got this package in the Windsor House branch store, which is decorated in purely white, and a crystal long display counter fully decorated with colorful cupcakes. To list some hot sales flavors, Red Velvet, Espresso, Chocolate Salted Caramel, Chocolate Rum & Raisin...
Each cupcakes is freshly handmade in the morning and preserved in the fridge with a standard temperature control. You better take it home and send into your fridge as soon as possible, and leave it at room temperature about 20 minutes before having it. Twelve Cupcake's flavors is widely covered most favorites of the public with the simple but beautiful presentation.
As the Moon package, it has Cranberry Chocolate, Strawberry Vanilla, Espresso and Earl Grey. Each flavor is well paired with yellow (original butter), dark brown (chocolate) and dark yellow cake base. Flora and rabbit mooncake painting is featured by edible white chocolate on the top, which is also soft and moisture in taste. I was not a cupcake-fan and even seldom have them for the reason of over-sweetness and thick cream, however Twelve Cupcake's cream is lightly made to be less sweet and less creamy. It expresses each flavor in quite a decent and gentle way with the smooth and slightly solid cream wrap. With the moisture less-denser cake, I was so surprised to find the 'egg yolk' with a little bit denser texture inside. It is not only a game with Mooncake idea but also an input of another tasting experience when you are used to the normal cupcakes.
I was so impressed by the freshness, softness and lightness of Twelve Cupcake's; and for sure, I will go back for more flavors soon.
