大除夕夜
大家好！我係二少爺，今次分享一首1981年的英文舊歌。上次聽完Dan Fogelberg的《Leader of the band》之後，今次安哥Dan Fogelberg的另一首好歌：《Same Auld Lang Syne》，我最喜歡的聖誕歌之一。
這首歌是Dan Fogelberg與前女友Jill Anderson於一個除夕夜的意外重逢，有感而發寫成。可說歌中的故事是有血有肉的親身經歷。
歌曲內容大致講：
男主角於下著雪的聖誕節前夕，在雜貨店的涷肉櫃前，遇見了舊情人。他偷偷觸碰她的衣袖，她起初並未能認出他，然後她張大了眼睛，跟他擁抱，銀包不慎掉到地上，彼此笑出淚水來。
他把女的購物拿到櫃台前結帳，收銀員將食物逐一裝入袋。兩人有點尷尬，因為這情況是他們未分手前經常一起購物的情景。兩人困窘到無言。
兩人想去喝杯酒聚吓舊，但找不到一家仍然營業的酒吧。於是他到酒館買了半打罐裝啤酒，索性在她的私家車上喝起來。
他們為純真、為此刻乾杯！他們嘗試超越心中的空虛感，可惜卻無能為力。
她說她已嫁給一名建築師，能讓她的生活飽暖無憂。她想說她很愛這個丈夫，但她又不想說謊。他說上天待她不薄，但從她眼裡看到的，不知道是疑惑還是感激？
她說在唱片店裡，看到了他的大碟。她猜他現在一定過得很好，他回答歌迷很熱情很好，但走埠演唱的日子就苦不堪言。
他們為純真、為時間乾杯！兩人再次經歷高談闊論的情景，就像往昔某一年的除夕夜一樣。
啤酒已飲清，舌頭也累了，再無話題可聊。他下車前，互相交換一個Goodbye Kiss。他目送著她駕車離去，剎那間他彷彿回到了校園時代，再次感受那熟悉的痛楚。當他轉身準備回去時，雪開始飄下，並化成雨，原來他已經哭了。剛好搭入十二時，四周奏起Auld Lang Syne的音樂。
嘩！我記得我睇到呢份英文歌詞之後，深深地嘆了一口長氣。點可以寫得咁細膩咁感人架！有一次睇雜誌訪問，陳少琪替張學友填詞的《分手總要在雨天》，靈感都是源於此首《Same Auld Lang Syne》。
感同身受
我都有一次重遇舊情人的經歷，92年分手後的女情人，再無任何聯絡。在2000年某天下午，我乘地鐵到銅鑼灣站，正打算下車。車門打開，我見到一個太太左手拖住個五歲仔、右手拖住個四歲女。OMG！應該是她啩？
我落車她上車，沒有跟她相認，秒速擦身而過。我留意她仔女的衣著，囝囝穿Polo囡囡穿Burberry（或者是A貨，霎眼難辨）。我都希望她嫁得好，衣食無憂。唔通嫁俾我跟我捱世界好咩！咦！佢哋搭地鐵喎，係咪無私家車呢？噢！可能她不懂駕車，先生駕了車上班。先生忙於工作，所以老婆同仔女行吓銅鑼灣啩。她可以不用返工，專心照顧小朋友，仲生夠兩個添，丈夫應該有錢嘅。
之後，我一人恍恍惚惚咁行上Sogo，想起好多昔日往事…
