奶奶踏入長者之年嘅生日話唔駛我哋請食飯,佢想要生日禮物,禮物當然要送,飯也不能不吃。問奶奶想食乜,答曰乜都無所謂,但最後就揀咗要食西餐。由於奶奶亦曾提及泰菜,於是我就send咗Glasshouse同Mango tree嘅資料俾奶奶睇,前者裝修雅緻,後者我幫襯過,環境唔差,一般食物水準ok,芒果糯米飯簡直係一絕!但奶奶嫌唔係西餐(其實前者係有西餐嘅選擇)……結果,今晚餐飯喺佢個女揀嘅餐廳食,Fusion Gourmet,分數比我揀嘅兩間餐廳都要低!環境嘛……唔見得特別好……

今晚餐飯姑仔帶埋男友嚟!一早知道姑仔蜜運中,但卻未見過真人,當然奶奶見過幾次架喇,今次帶埋出嚟同奶奶慶祝,想必係感情穩定,奶奶快要飲女婿茶喇。

我同拾爺去到餐廳時,佢哋三個已到,奶奶見我帶咗口罩,就問我係咪唔舒服……噚日俾燻雞奶奶時,佢見到我呆呆滯滯,唔係已經得知我病咗架咩﹖奶奶擔心我唔係點食到嘢,但佢哋睇過餐牌,決定叫4 Courses,我同拾爺當然照跟啦。呢到3 courses收$458,4 courses就收$498。姑仔想好似上次咁share嘢食,但我對佢哋嘅選擇興趣不大,加上我病,所以我就話唔想share。最後,大家決定starter就share,main就自己各自揀番自己想食嘅嘢。

點好菜後,waiter先送上麵包。

Homemade bread﹕唔熱,只有carrot嗰隻包叫香啲,其他好一般……完全冇麵包味……

Pan fried scallop with crabmeat salad, asparagus, baby greens and Thai vinaigrette: 拾爺嘅starter,賣相好靚,但味道好一般……我只係食咗少少scallop,嫌佢煎得唔夠熱,邊位唔脆口,內裡唔粉嫩……整道菜只係得個樣……

Carpaccio of Australia Wagyu (M4-5 ) beef with black truffle vinaigrette: 我嘅starter,面層鋪滿令人開胃嘅沙律,酸酸味味,令到病到冇咩胃口嘅我都食指大動!反而低層嘅和牛欠缺牛味……主角不如配角……

Grilled prawn with herb oil, tomato salad and cherry vinaigrette: 奶奶嘅starter,冇食到,因為大家最後都係自己食自己嘅,starter份量太少,好難share。

姑仔同佢男友分別要叫咗Slow-cooked egg with salted sea bass, salad of frisee and walnut vinaigrette同埋Grilled tongue of Australia Wagyu with pickled peppers and pepper vinaigrette。一向對魚興趣不大,所以冇試到姑仔嘅starter,但佢有試到我嘅。反而我同拾爺都對牛舌有興趣,所以姑仔男友切咗啲俾我哋試。其實都唔係啲,佢本來俾成塊我哋,但佢自己只有兩塊,所以我同拾爺叫佢唔好俾太多我哋,結果佢俾咗半塊,我同拾爺都唔太好意思,但再切又好麻煩,所以失禮地食咗人半塊牛舌。味道方面,唔ok!冇咩牛味,而且好韌……

Vegetable soup: 蘑菇湯,淡而無味……連拾爺都係咁覺得,即係唔關我病到冇咩味覺事!我同拾爺已經算係淡口味之人,都覺得佢太淡,可想而知佢有幾「乏味」!我唔係要佢加鹽加醋加黑椒咁濃嘅味,但叫得蘑菇湯,至少應該有蘑菇味,可惜,我哋都飲唔到……

Seafood soup: 奶奶嫌佢太鹹,但其實佢唔係鹹,係好濃!不過,濃得嚟又真係太重口味,冇咗鮮嗰種感覺。

Roast rack of Australia organic lamb with ratatouille and black pepper sauce: 我嘅main,賣相好靚,但羊味唔夠……如果唔係睇到成隻羊架嘅樣,真係唔知自己食緊羊……配菜嘅露筍好差,老到不得了,從未食過咁劣質嘅露筍!

Grilled Australia Wagyu M4-5 Sirloin steak with red wine onion sauce: 拾爺嘅main,廚子啲鹽落得好唔勻,我同拾爺都食到成啖鹽,鹹到呢!撇除太鹹,其實塊扒煎到幾juicy,而且唔會好韌!只可惜,除咗鹹味,我食唔到牛味……同我嗰碟一樣,配菜嘅露筍好差,老到不得了!

Grilled U.S. Kurobuta Pork loin (Six Point Farm) with mixed vegetable and rosemary sauce: 奶奶嘅main,姑仔讚塊豬扒有豬味,我卻覺得佢個醃料太重味,蓋過哂所有嘢。Frankly,我食唔到個豬味,只食到香芧味,對,係香芧,唔係rosemary……雖然香芧豬扒係一樣好common嘅餸菜,我都食唔少,覺得兩者好夾,但唔知點解今次餐廳用上黑豚肉排,我卻覺得兩者好唔夾!呢種豬嘅味道(雖然都唔係好食得出架喇……)同咬口,同隻香芧好唔match,食落去總覺得味道怪怪咁……

姑仔話佢buy呢間多過之前團年飯嘅Madam Sixty Ate,原因係Madam Sixty Ate sell豬,但豬冇豬味……我同佢相反,我一啲都唔buy呢到嘅豬,當然Madam Sixty Ate嘅都唔好味……但呢到都sell牛,可惜佢啲牛都係冇牛味,相反,Madam Sixty Ate嘅好好味!Madam Sixty Ate嘅homemade bread都好好味,starters亦唔錯,有時餐廳嘅signature唔一定係我哋最buy嘅,但只要有其中一樣嘢超正,已經值得食客番轉頭,我覺得Madam Sixty Ate有,但呢到冇!

Strawberry Napoleon with chocolate gelato with blueberry and mango sauce: 問waiter dessert有咩推介,佢話strawberry Napoleon係呢到嘅signature dessert,如果signature都只屬呢個水準,其他dessert都可以不試!Napoleon賣點應該係鬆脆嘅酥皮,我食到嘅係唔鬆又唔脆,只得個硬字嘅酥皮……廚子落太多水喇……

Lemon tart with strawberry gelato and sour cream sauce: 拾爺嘅lemon tart,我只係食咗一啖,食唔到lemon味,個tart嘅texture冇驚喜。拾爺卻話食食吓,食到嘔吐物味,佢好唔鍾意……

埋單$2722.5,姑仔簽卡,俾足$2740,餐廳服務無甚特別,喺加一已包服務費,兼簽卡下tips唔落waiters袋嘅情況下,個人覺得冇需要咁豪爽!
