Carry on Bags: The maximum allowable dimensions are 65 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm (LxWxH). Note:Passengers travelling on flights originating from certain airports will not be allowed to carry any hand baggage.
Airline rules allow for one carry on bag and one personal item, unless you're flying on a basic economy fare. But we've all seen people selfishly putting two bags in the overhead bin or carrying on more luggage than could possibly be allowed. You don't want to be like them. But you also might not be a one bagger.
Most luggage sets come in three pieces: one carry-on (19-23 inches), one medium checked suitcase (25-27 inches), and one large checked suitcase (28-32 inches).
1 to 2-week trips: small to medium-sized suitcases These suitcases have a capacity of about 51 to 75 liters, which equals about 10 to 15kg of luggage.
1 kg of gold x (1000 g / 1 kg) x (1 mL / 19.3 g) =51.8 x 30kg equals 1554 mL gold. 1ml is the same as 1cc so if you get a bag that is 10cm by 20cm by 7.8cm (1560cc) you should easily have enough room.
Measure the length, height, and depth of your bag, including handles and wheels. Add those three measurements together. The total is your linear measurement, in either centimeters or inches. Measure from the wheels to the top of the handle for height.
As lexicographer Jesse Sheidlower told HuffPost, “It's 'roll-aboard' ― which could be written with a hyphen, a space, or as a closed compound ― because it rolls aboard a plane.” Still, the “rollerboard” eggcorn also has some logic because the term evokes an object with wheels, like a skateboard or a piece of luggage.
The term, Rollaboard®, originally caught on with airline pilots and flight attendants who were the first users of this new invention. Today, many travelers use the word generically to describe wheeled carry-on luggage.”
Spinner luggage is more susceptible to breakage because the wheels move in different directions. This is especially true when you're rolling over uneven surfaces like cobblestone. The wheels on upright luggage, on the other hand, tend to be more durable because they don't move around as much.
4 Wheel suitcases are better balanced, depending on how you pack, if the weight distribution is out of whack in a 2 wheel case they can tip over, 4 wheel cases don't have this problem. They require much less effort to 'wheel' – as they wheel along beside you rather than being dragged.
