Wagyu became one of my favorite place for lunch. Set lunch prices at $165 plus 10% service charge, and definitely it's worth for money for having nice food in a pretty decent environment.
Lunch starts with warm bread served with vinegar and olive oil:
It has 3 choices of appetizer. Today I chose Smoked Salmon and Beetroot Bruschetta. Love the tastes of smoked salmon, it's not too fatty and goes well with the vinegar and toast. Thge beetroot is juicy as expected. Nice choice.
My friend chose Vietnamese salad. It's with topping of chopped peanuts and uses vinegar to make the dressing. Tastes sweet and sour, and good as an appetizer.
Then we moved to the main dish. Flame Grilled N.Z. Rib Eye is the signature dish here (same as the restaurant name). Normally I will have this for my choice (but not today). The beef tastes good in medium with the fragrance of char grilled.
Pan Roasted Sea Bass, a more healthy choice if you want to have something light.
My choice of today's Char Grilled Lamb Burger. The lamb is very juicy, and tastes good with the goat cheese. The french fries are crispy and hot. Nice combination !
Leek and Saffron Risotto - my Italian friend's choice. The texture of rice keep chewing, traditional risotto characteristic.
All of us love the illy coffee here ! Especially when it goes with the dessert together.
Two choices of dessert today. Almond Praline Choux Pastry - a nice traditional western dessert. There's cream inside and overall it tastes not too sweet, but with a very smoothy texture. Nice presentation too.
Anoher choice is Vanilla Panna Cotta with mixed berries. I didn't tastes it but my friends said it's nice and the taste of berries balanced the sweetness in a good way.
Indeed there's a lot of choice of wines here with reasonable prices. Will definitely come here for dinner next time ! :-)
